This project in Eccleston, Chorley, involved a full damp proofing treatment to protect the property’s chimney breasts and surrounding walls from rising damp.
The work began with the removal of all damaged plaster and preparation of the exposed masonry to ensure a clean surface for treatment. A chemical DPC (Damp Proof Course) injection was then applied along the base of the walls and chimney breasts to create a continuous moisture barrier and prevent further damp from travelling through the brickwork.

Once the injection was complete, a DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) system was installed to provide an additional layer of protection before the walls were re-plastered to a smooth, professional finish.
The completed work leaves the property protected against damp, with the treated areas now ready for decorating - restoring both comfort and durability to the living space.
